Need more old school artist
I really enjoyed the past years old school style and the participation from the audience. JIG 2026 performances were good, but Teena Marie was excellent. The majority of JIG attendees can relate to Old school artists because they wake us up and get of our of our seats with hits from the 70's and 80's. Jazz in the Gardens was once based on jazz and old school music. I would prefer old school artist perform familiar hits from the 70's and 80's; those artists who mostly tour for a living and can still draw a crowd. As I looked around this year, folks in my age group were sitting a lot not relating to so much of the new artists. There are plenty old school artists that we can bring to JIG. I am 51 years old. My decision would not be automatically 'yes I'm going;' I would ponder over not attending if I see where another line-up for future JIGs is similar to the 2026 line.
